I Have Nothing to Say....or do I?

"I believe that the so-called 'writing block' is a product of some kind of disproportion between your standards and your performance ... one should lower his standards until there is no felt threshold to go over in writing. It's easy to write. You just shouldn't have standards that inhibit you from writing ... I can imagine a person beginning to feel he's not able to write up to that standard he imagines the world has set for him. But to me that's surrealistic. The only standard I can rationally have is the standard I'm meeting right now ... You should be more willing to forgive yourself. It doesn't make any difference if you are good or bad today. The assessment of the product is something that happens after you're done it."
William Stafford, poet

So read this crappy blog....

I have nothing to talk about. All I've been doing is working. I had a blog in mind yesterday started. Now I just feel way too tired to even finish it. My brain won't think straight today. I'm really disappointed in the fact that I can't think of anything fun.

After working 16 hours yesterday, I decided to reward myself today with food. So, for lunch I'm going to get myself an order of fresh rolls from somewhere and I'm also going to stop at the store and buy a big bag of Zesty Cheese Doritos and a Dr. Pepper. This will make me very happy.

This weekend I have big plans. This is a rare occurrence. Friday night Jo's friend Cat Jahnke is playing at Lydia's. I saw her once at the fringe and she's really good. I think I may convince her to go out to eat at Amigo's before the show. Shouldn't be too hard.

Then Saturday, I have a massage and a night out at The Double Deuce to watch the UFC PPV with Kad and some people from Scheers Gym. I think the last time I went to this place was with Andrea about 7 years ago.

Somewhere in all this I need to grocery shop and clean my house and relax alone as well. So those are my plans. I'm really excited about going out with Jo because we don't do much anymore.

I wore my glasses to work today. This morning I cleaned them but I used my hand towel that must have had hair product or lotion of some kind on it and now they are all smeared and I can't get that film layer off them. It's very apparent right now because the sun is shining on me sideways and making everything blurry.

Tada!

YOu do way better than me when I have nothing to say. Normally when I have nothing to day, I just don't post.

what's your prediction for saturday night? GSP, or Hughes? i'm seriously looking forward to this one... i just need to find a buddy to come with me... i don't wanna be that guy that goes to the bar to watch the fight by himself... what a loser, that guy, the only saving grace i have is that i don't live at my parent's. still if i can't find anyone, i'll probably drag amanda with me... she just doesn't know about it yet...

i would like to think so too... interesting fact, one of my buddies brothers is going to montreal about a month because he's been personally invited to train with GSP... how cool is that?

Ang, I'm impressed with your post when you had nothing to say. When I have nothing to say I say...nothing.

T-RAV I WOULD INVITE YOU BUT I THINK THEY BOOKED A TABLE...AND THEN YOU WOULD JUST END UP BEING THE WEIRD GUY SITTING ON THE FLOOR BESIDE ME.

Yes that is cool GT.

Notice how she doesn't invite me?

Then again, I wouldn't invite me either.

Yeah, I'm gonna miss the fight. :( Stupid work. Ah, well, I just better not miss UFC 66. Maybe I should book it off in advance. "So yeah, I need to book off this day, because there's a fight on TV that I just CAN'T miss."

You like Zesty Cheese Doritos? Really?! Those are my least favorite. Ick. I like those new Black Pepper Jack. Yummy.

I don't like Doritos at all. Snack companies and I don't see eye to eye.

I really loved O'Ryan's Sour Cream and Onion and Old Dutch's Mexican Chili chips and they got rid of those.

i died a little inside the day i couldn't buy mexican chilli chips anymore. in fact now that i was reminded i'm feeling like we need a moment of silence for all those potatoes out there that will never get the chance to be a mexican chilli chip.
